Los Angeles Campus at Colburn School

Welcome to the Los Angeles – Colburn Campus

The third campus to open, the Los Angeles campus is located on the beautiful Colburn School facility. The Los Angeles campus will serve grades 7-12 on at Colburn. Students interested in the Los Angeles campus must also be enrolled with Colburn.

The Colburn School prides itself on creating a tailored learning environment for each of our students so that they can reach their fullest potential as musicians, dancers, and human beings.

The fall of 2018 will mark the first year of a pilot academic program provided by Oak Crest Academy (OCA) at Colburn. We will offer academic instructors and individualized learning programs on Colburn’s campus for a select number of student’s grades five through high school. Our program allows efficiency and flexibility for families seeking more time to pursue their music studies while offering a rigorous academic education.

In our learning center, our teachers provide a rigorous and stimulating academic environment with a high-caliber curriculum, combined with project- and inquiry-based approach to learning, in order for students to develop critical and creative thinking skills and retain a deep love of learning. Having recognized that gifted and talented children learn differently, and may require more flexibility, the teachers are committed to providing an academically appropriate learning environment that is stimulating, secure and joyful, with an age-appropriate social and emotional setting in which children can blossom and maximize their potential.
